About This Pilgrimage

Tour Overview

Nestled in a narrow gorge on the banks of the Kosi River, Kainchi Dham is one of the most spiritually charged destinations in the Himalayas. This revered ashram and Hanuman temple was established by the beloved saint Neem Karoli Baba — known as Maharaj-ji — whose teachings of love, service, and devotion have drawn seekers from across the world, including Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Julia Roberts. The journey to Kainchi Dham winds through pine-forested mountain roads, passing the charming hill towns of Bhowali and Bhimtal, before arriving at this sacred sanctuary where time seems to slow and the air itself feels different.
